In the summer
of 2003, the AFPRC took on the designation of an Ontario Early Years Satellite (OEYS).
As such, the goal of the AFPRC/OEYS is to become a gateway for parents
and caregivers of children 0-6, to gain information in the areas of
education, resources, support and assistance. The AFPRC/ OEYS is a
non-profit organization funded through the Ministry of Community and
Social Services, as administered by Children and Family Services of
Renfrew County. We are run by a voluntary Board of Directors, made up
of area moms, caregivers and professionals committed to the vision and
helping potentials of the AFPRC / OEYS. In addition to fundraising
efforts (bake sales, silent auctions, pre-packaged fundraising
campaigns, etc.), we rely on charitable donations to supplement our
programs. We have charitable status. All of our services are free to
families.
