My interest and involvement with painting goes back to my school years and continued throughout my working years. I started to study and practice my art seriously between raising a family and business career as a working housewife. During that time I had taken several art courses at night, including oil painting at the Ottawa School of Art, colour theory and sculpture, instructors being Charlotte Morgan-MacNeill, Victor Tolgasy to name a few. I have also studied with other professional artists and attended workshops in order to keep learning and improving. |
| Since retiring I have been able to devote more time to my art, expanding into acrylic painting and water colours. I have been painting with the Arnprior Day Painters now for several years and feel most fortunate to be associated with this group of many diverse talents, who have helped to inspire me to keep painting and evolve as an artist, to paint in various mediums. |  |
At present, I am showing several painting with the Arnprior Day Painters in Arnprior and Renfrew. |
