Elizabeth (Liz) Campbell is a fine artist living in Arnprior, Ontario.  Her highly realistic paintings are created using the unique contemporary medium of coloured pencil.  In them she explores how nature juxtaposes light and dark, new and old, life and death in her quest for her own personal meaning of life.

Her paintings hang in private collections from Newfoundland to Alberta.   She has exhibited in Canadian galleries in Ottawa, Stittsville, Peterborough, Kemptville, Renfrew and Arnprior as well as many private showings and exhibitions.

Most recently two of her paintings have been part of the prestigious Colored Pencil Society of America's juried shows at Birmingham Michigan USA in 2000, and San Francisco California USA in 2001.

She has studied under Alison Fagan, Joan Holben and Bernard Poulin and now teaches art courses regularly both from her home and through local school boards.

She is a member of the Arnprior League of Artists, the Council of the Arts for Ottawa, the Colored Pencil Society of America and the Arnprior Day Painters.

She is thankful for her supportive family who have encouraged her to explore her talents.

She works out of her home on her family's century farm - Campbellbrook.
