Looking for Volunteers Drivers Every Wednesday Morning (1 Hour)
Seniors Home Support is searching for volunteer drivers to help out with our “Seniors Shopping Program”.  This is such a great program and benefits those who are unable to do their own grocery shopping, or have recently had surgery and are temporarily house bound.  We presently have five clients who are benefiting from this program.  We need volunteers with their own vehicle who can deliver groceries on Wednesdays between 1:00pm & 2:30pm .  Please give us a call if you are interested.
Out Of Town Medical Drivers Needed       Seniors Home Support has openings for Volunteer Out of Town Medical Transportation Drivers.  Do you have spare time to assist those who have no available transportation to get to their medical appointments?  If you do then we could use your assistance.  All drivers are reimbursed at a rate of .43 cents per kilometer.  Please contact our office for further information.
Looking for Home Maintenance Workers
We are looking for people who are willing to mow lawns in the summer and shovel snow in winter months for area seniors.  All workers are paid directly by the client. Help a senior stay independent and remain in his or her own home.  If you can assist with this need please call our office.
Volunteers Required
Volunteer Receptionist      Seniors Home Support is currently seeking an individual who would like to volunteer a half day a week (4 hours) morning or afternoon to be one of our agency's receptionists.  If this is of interest to you, please call our office and ask for Dennis.
Telephone Security Check Volunteer     We are presently looking for someone to call an individual each morning.  The call takes less than 5 minutes. When this call is made to an individual who is alone it makes them feel more secure.
Friendly Visitors   We are looking for men and women who are interested in visiting seniors who are unable to get out as much as they once did.  This is a great program where often friendships are made.
